Served as the head of game design on the flagship game Two Dots, managed entry- to mid-level designers, worked with leadership to translate company goals into product initiatives. Shepherded features from the white board to live ops iteration.
📱 DIRECTOR OF DESIGN @ Turbo Studios [ 4/16 - 3/18 ]
Inherited a deeply flawed product and launched it before company was absorbed by publisher. Built a suite of social features, performed economy balance, and managed a small team of artists and designers.
📱/💻 LEAD DESIGNER, R&D @ Frostburn Studios [ 1/15 - 2/16 ]
Creative lead on an unreleased game (Clash Royale before Clash Royale), UX and design support on a separate idle game, taught company and publisher-wide design seminars.
💻 LEAD DESIGNER @ Shanghai Jingle [ 1/15 - 4/15 ]
Adapted a popular international game to the Chinese audience, complete with China-specific systems and monetization as well as best-in-class UX systems.

Lead designer for maps and modes, as well as product owner and champion for game clarity and functional UX across multiple departments. Led department in competitive analysis and assisted marketing team in player outreach and design evangelism.

Lead small design team in live ops on one of the first ever massive F2P games in the west, competing against Riot and Valve. Innovated several best-in-class designs that are still mimicked to this day.
